Do you want to repair boilers? Are you lacking in fault finding experience? Do you need technicial support? 24hours a day? 7 days a week? Then you need one of our experienced technical trainers on your side.

Heating and boiler fault diagnostics can be a very expensive learning curve for any engineer working with paying customers. Your customer demands a first visit fix? You have come across a fault which you have never seen before? Not quite sure how to test a particular component? Not quite sure whether the part you have fitted will cure the fault? Sometimes it is easy to get bogged down with guess work, a good example would be:

You attend a boiler that has a blown circuit board- it is quite clear that the circuit board has blown, the black scorch marks give it away. You approach your customer and show them the problem, advise them it is a simple fix? They agree the cost and you go off to the merchant to purchase your shiny new circuit board.
Returning to the boiler, you are feeling quite happy with yourself, a simple little job and everyone is happy. After replacing the circuit board you power the boiler up and it kicks into life. The boiler fires and everything seems to work? The customer pays you and you leave the property. Another job done with another happy customer? NO, the customer calls you back an hour later, the boiler has failed AGAIN. Back you go to the property thinking it's something silly like the roomstat turned down. SHOCK HORROR! You find your new shiny circuit has died the same death as the old one?! Hmmmmm, what do you do now? Panic? Make something up and run? Or start testing the boiler for faults that would make the circuit blow? It's called the root cause.

Defective Fan?
Defective Pump?
Wiring Fault?
Diverter Valve?

Many gas service engineers complete their gas safety training obtaining their ACS and Gas Safe certificates and enter the world of heating service and repairs. We know the safety of the engineer is second to none, checked the ventilation? Flue? Gas soundness? But can you competently fault find on a boiler or system using your multimeter? Test the operation of the thermister? Is it out of calibration? Causing the boiler to overheat? Or is it the pump? Or sludge? Scale? Or is it the system design? Too many Trv's? No bypass? When do you need a bypass? How do you test the boiler operation? The list is endless?

Our trainers can work with you either out in the field or in the classroom, or a combination of both to ensure you have the relevant skills to competently rectify most heating problems easily and without fuss.

Do you know why a high efficient boiler (Sometimes called condensing) achieves a saving? How does it work? Is it true that if they don't condense they are not working correctly? Do you know how they operate? Do you know how to test for the most common faults? Blocked Condense pipes? Worn electrodes? How to service them correctly? Use a flue gas analyser correctly? Use your multimeter correctly? Ohms? Voltage? Do you know how to test the operation of the system? Temperature differentials?

The list is endless, contact us today and we will discuss your requirements and work with you to provide the answers you need. The skills that we are offering will immediately increase your bottom line figure with improved efficiency, better customer service, and ultimately make you profit from the service and repair of gas fired central heating systems.
